Preparing For Your Property’s Excavation Site

Thank you for choosing High Performance Earthworks for your property’s upcoming excavation project. We look forward to working with you through each stage of your project timeline, from start to finish.

In order for us to mobilize our machines and crew onto your job site, there are a few preliminary steps that need to be taken beforehand. To ensure your property is ready for the arrival of our workforce, we’ve included below your pre-mobilization checklist. Taking these steps will provide us with the necessary care and forethought needed for a successful project between you and our crew, contracting partners and county inspectors. Please review this checklist thoroughly. We are available throughout your entire project to answer any questions or concerns you may have along the way.

My Checklist

  • CONTRACT: I have read and signed my HPE Work Authorization / Excavation Services Contract.

  • DEPOSIT PAYMENT: I have paid HPE my $500 non-refundable scheduling deposit and/or my 50% mobilization deposit, or I have received confirmation from HPE for an alternative payment plan.

  • STREET SIGNAGE: My property has clear, visible address signage from the main access road.

  • PLANS: I have provided HPE with the most recent engineering plan for my project.

  • PERMIT: I have received a permit for the work to be done and have provided this to HPE. If I am unsure of my need for a permit, I have communicated this with HPE.

  • STAKING: My property lines are clearly marked on the job site if the work scope will be 25 feet or closer to them.

  • ACCESS: My site is easily accessible for a combination vehicle hauling equipment, with room to park off-street, turnaround and load/unload, or I have communicated with HPE a successful alternative access plan.

  • OBSTACLES: Any site obstacles, landscaping, vehicles, objects, irrigation systems, or areas for preservation, and all liabilities near the work zone have been moved to clear the way for construction, or have been clearly marked by myself or another representative for me and have been communicated to HPE.

  • PRIVATE LOCATES: I have communicated with HPE the possibility or confirmation of private utility lines that extend into the work zone and have had these located, if they exist.

  • NEIGHBORLINESS: I have notified any neighbors with abutting property access, structures or vehicles of my upcoming project so that they can clear their vehicles or property for ease of construction access and generally be aware of any equipment that may be operated near their property.

  • CONNECTIVITY: I have let HPE know if there is cell phone service or wifi access or neither on the property, along with any credentials needed for wifi access.
